TRANSPORTATION OF DOGS

General statement:

The need for dog transportation fluctuates, but is a very crucial component of our group. Volunteers are often needed for bringing a new dog to his foster home and for the foster dogs to vet appointments and adoption events. Also, a person could assist foster homes with vet visits and adoption events - some of our foster homes have more than one dog, plus one or two of their own, so the vet shuffle can become overwhelming.

Requirements:

  1. Ability and patience to drive with an often excited dog in the car.
  2. Ability and time to drive either short or long distances, though most trips will take about 45 minus to an hour. Transports are needed during regular business hours Monday thru Friday, evenings, and on weekends.
