Volunteer Waiver

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. The following waiver must be signed by all volunteers and their legal guardian if the volunteer is under age 18. While working with dogs is almost always a safe and joyful experience, there is a remote possibility that an injury may occur.

****RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT****

For and in consideration of Volunteer being allowed to work with dogs from A New Leash on Life Dog Rescue, I the named Volunteer hereby fully and forever release, discharge, acquit and exonerate A New Leash on Life Dog Rescue, its volunteers, affiliates and all others acting on its behalf (colllectively "NEW LEASH"), as the contact permits, form any and all claims, actions, causes of action, remedies and complaints of any kind which I have or may in the future have, whether known or unknown, arising out of or relating to the dogs or my volunteer work for NEW LEASH, including specifically all claims for personal injury, paralysis, wrongful death, property damage and all claims resulting from any injury inflicted by the dogs.

I recognize and accept all risks associated with unpredictable dog behavior on behalf of myself. I specifically assume all risks arising out of or relating to the care and handling of the dogs. I recognize that NEW LEASH and/or its agents, volunteers, or affiliates make no representations whatsoever as to the past history of the dogs and whether or not they are safe dogs.

I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless NEW LEASH from any and all claims and costs, including attorney fees arising out of or relating to the dogs or my volunteer work with NEW LEASH.
